silly me love + hate in the web linku

This is me, and I'm not proud of it !

Real nickname: sanjuro
Born on the Internet: in 1996
Actual age: old enough to be your dad if you're 10 years old
Nationality: boohoo, no, don't make me say it... French
Location: Helsinki, Finland, and love it

Mini-bio: Accidentally born French, only likes the past (19th century mostly) of his home country, unconditionally hates its present time. Moved to Finland at the age of 22, never returned since. Still doesn't speak Finnish, considers Helsinki as his adoptive hometown. Loves Finnish girls with a passion. Is poor, has three part-time jobs commonly referred as shitty jobs. All his money goes to rent and food, nothing else. Has a lame computer. Loves writing and loves making his own websites, with the hope of coming up someday with the one site that'll make him rich. Plays free online lotteries in the meanwhile. Loves sex, can't practise often enough. Is also reknown as a long-time Japan addict.

Introducing my computer

Processor: Penthium II
Clock speed: unknown
RAM: 64MB
HD: 3GB
OS: Windows 98

Why? Yeah, why the need to introduce my computer, it's not like I want to write a geek profile, and there's nothing anyway to boast about. Well, actually there is, I am boasting about how bad my computer is and the reason for that is that it partly justifies why my sites are not as modern or performant as other people's sites: because my computer is so bad, there are many things I cannot do, or which take much longer to achieve. It's common to say that "it's not the tools that makes the art, it's the artist", but in terms of computer design, it's obviously not entirely true.

My Websites

I have several websites, some are more finalized than some others, but at the moment all of them are online. I love making them, and depending on the topic, I may like keeping them updated too.

R U N N I N G
1UP
http://www.1up-games.com

Since December 2003. 1UP is a review website in French language and all about retrogaming, specifically 6 old consoles from the glorious 80's-90's: the Nintendo NES and Super Nintendo, the Sega Master System, Megadrive and Game Gear, and the SNK neo Geo.

Samurai Nintendo
http://www.samurainintendo.com

Since May 2001. Primarily about the Nintendo GameCube, SN was too ambitious for me, that's why it never really took off I guess. It could have performed better than that, if only I had bothered updating it more often after the last version. As for now, stats are impressive and there's a tiny community active in the forum. That's a prowess.

Ipheo
http://www.ipheo.com

Since May 2006. It's not launched yet, but it should be soon...

Chat
http://chat.bbsig.com

Since November 2005. A collection of chat rooms, the site is currently being revamped, I'm working on the next version and already thinking of the one after that. Do not try to understand.

Luomu.org
http://www.luomu.org

Since February 2006. The initial idea was strange and peculiar, the result, in terms of visit, was ridiculous and predictable. How could a site in English language about issues in Finland could interest anyone ? Never mind, I wanted to make it.

3wins.net
http://www.3wins.net

Unfinished. I gave up, though the design looked rather nice, because I lost both motivation and faith in this site. The idea was interesting I thought, until someone kept telling me it wouldn't work and ultimately it ruined my morale. Now I'll be using it as a portal instead by way of the subdomains.

O F F L I N E
Presently, none.
